In 1991, I was just another sixth former at St. Mary’s Comprehensive on the edge of Sheffield, never expecting that my life—and the lives of three of my closest friends—would become the talk of the town. When we all discovered, within weeks of each other, that we were pregnant, our world unravelled in ways we could never have imagined.
